i used to love tumblr! now i dont evennnn want to look at it.

its 4.10 AM and im wide awakeeeeeee! re-arranging my booklet so it looks nice, but it doesnt look near ok :’( — aniwei, heres’ my final below the linessssss! i decided to create a series of folklore from indonesia on a flyer.. the flyer will be given during peak hours, trains station, street, bus stop! anywhereeee with fully packed human being! but most probably a place like train station and bus stop, so they can enjoye reading the folkfore from indonesia, which is quite interesting - while they’re on the train or bus!

* the flyer itself is pretty much simple, what im trying to pitch on most of advertising is the ODD indonesian words! its so funny for me as an indonesian to hear a non-indonesian try to pronounce it these odd indonesian names! And couple of times i found lots of my friend try to mimic my language, just because they thought its a funny words to hear, from that moment on i know, if i ought to promote indonesia, first attraction can be the language itself, instead of tourist destination!

i like the idea of my ads, i think its very fresh, and i dont need lots of picture to attract people to learn about indonesia, a single strange words can rock the world!!!!!!

For my guirella ads, im going to pick on BAT-SIGNAL idea. since Indonesian believes that our puppet wayang represent how indonesian SUPERHERO looks like, then having a wayang-signal as my guirella ads is kinda make sense. With this idea, people will eventually learn about shadow puppets, so at then end what  my organization tries to bring can actually be aimed! it will definetly attract attention lots of people, thinking it’s somekind of new upcoming movie, or some freak show going on.

- the idea is that the head of these puppet will stay there for couple of days, until lots of media had enough of it, and it gained as much as attention as we need! and then for a day only the shadow will turn into jamo logo! just to conclude everything up!

couple of ads i try to apply on existing place for an ads.

ABOVE THE LINE ( 4 )

Final posters for My ads campaign! this beautiful pattern + very odd names of the pattern will attract attention at local bus stop, bus, billboard. people/ more like target audience which un-common with these words will try to read, guess how to pronounce, they’ll also most probably try to guess how the pattern looks like without the map. These ads will persuade them to visit the website, and eventually engage with jamo organisation at the end. :B

Shanghai Expo 2010

PLEASE CLICK ON THE TITLE ABOVE!

Found this on Shanghai Expo 2010 that is held since 11 days ago, until the end of 2010. Found this useful link that kind of related to my organization interactive space. In this expo some of architecture company showed their latest pavilion design, the trademark of this design are the bamboo which symbolized the modern and traditional, to give a contrast between the modern sytlish look building.

From here i found couple of idea for my advertising using Traditional plants that are famous for indonesia, and apply it on some of my advertising. I have the idea somehwere in my head, i know its thereeeee somewhere back in my mind!!! oh-well hopefully those idea appears sometimesss soon!

anyway, with this idea, i wanted to be a  “guirella advertising” kinda thing. using plants as the object! A giant sticker of COFFEE LUWAK which is very famous around the world and made in SUMATRA ( which is NORTH INDONESIAN) and stick it unto big giant buildings. but then its lameeeee or isnt? hahaha wokeeey! ignoreeeee me!

Singapore travel & tourism Ads.

I think this ad really works on me. HA! i wanted to go to singapore! i miss the food and everything else oh well! Back to the advertising, i think the ad really works, its simple, the main point is the soundtrack i guess. It gives you such a feeling of relax but also the sense of COOL-ness. For me i think i really get the feel of what singapore offered to tourist.

Visit Indonesia 2008 - Official add. i think its a cliche advertising. Its the same old thing they did since forever. Everything looks so artificial, compare to NZ ads ( on my previous posting) which are very realistic.

Some amazing photos of places in indonesia. Taken by  Vicky Tanzil http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Vicky-Tanzil/90555780072?ref=ts) He’s one of my good friend, and we are trying to collaborate our work together. He loves photography, and i love designing books, layout-ing. My idea for my JAMO organization is i can distribute some of his works into magazine that focusing on indonesia travel, culture, and living, or dedicating the whole page of coffee table books with his works, this book can be hand out for free, and hopefully can persuade people to look at Indonesia in its beauty.

His works is amazingly soft, and alive. I love all the tones, and also love the environment created inside the photos. Hopefully one day this idea can go into REAL business not only the matter of assignment :]

The 3 Bondi Blonde advertisments that we came up with for our week 5 class! I though we did pretty well and came up with a good concept. Overall I found this quite a fun excercise to do.
